Creative craftsmanship from a small shop setting is still around and flourishing.  As husband and wife for over 35 years, we've combined our talents in watercolor painting and clock repair to form our businesses, The Dutchmaster's Joinery, Ltd. and the Canal Street Studio. The Canal Street Studio highlights a gallery of Joanne's artwork, along with her note cards and prints,  The Studio also showcases a gift shop of handcrafted, fair trade creations from our artisan partners in the U.S. and around the world. Chris'has been repairing clocks for over 25 years. Our repair shop is an authorized Howard Miller and Ridgeway repair center.

Integrity and honesty are important to us. If they're important to you too, then you've come to the right place. Whether immersed in art or listening to the ticking of clocks, we think you'll find our space is a "place of peace." We look forward to the opportunity to be able to serve you.

Joanne paints from the heart in a spirit of deep appreciation for seasonal beauty. Via study and use of techniques reflecting the realism demonstrated by artists through the ages, as well as her interest and experimentation in Chinese Brush Painting, Resch continually fuels her creative journey through the changing seasons.

Watercolor is Joanne's primary medium. She has an extensive line of note cards printed from her original artwork. Various size prints are available as well as many original pieces, some framed, others not.
